WHAT IS THIS ABOUT?
Our hope is to become a church where invitation is the norm. We hope to become a church that boldly boasts about Jesus, knowing that this isn’t a burdensome task to earn God’s love but is for the fullness of our joy.

We are praying for opportunities to sow seeds of Jesus. How have you been able to sow seed?

"We accidentally put the wrong number on our Dig group text list. After several days and a couple dozen texts, we realized our mistake and apologized to the wrong number. John (the wrong number) wanted to be included. He came to our MC one day, and I'm still texting him from time to time to get him involved in a church in his area."
"Some of our neighbors reached out to us about the recent bill trying to be passed by our state government. They are nervous about the impacts it could have on them as parents. We are going to meet up this week. I'm excited for the opportunity to share Christ as the One who is our peace."
"I’ve often said that people who have dogs and children have an instant approachability. Today I was reminded that just quietly enjoying nature makes you approachable too. We were sitting by a pond reading quietly when a woman came up next to us and said hi. Within a few minutes she was sharing about some difficult life transitions, and we were able to listen and encourage her. When she was leaving I reached out my hand, we exchanged names and I held her hand for a moment and said “I’ll be praying for you.” And later that afternoon I prayed for her."
"I was praying for opportunities to share God’s goodness with someone after our evangelism kick off. I happened to have a difficult situation come up the day after that sermon. After much prayer, I gave it to the Lord and found peace. The next day some young gentlemen came to the door to sell something. I normally wouldn’t have even answered, but I did that day and I gave them a very short summary of what had occurred as reason for not being able to spend money on what they were selling. They expressed that they were both facing some similar challenges. I felt the tug of the Holy Spirit and told them that the Lord always provides. They were astonished and said they had just prayed together before starting their day. I shared with them some pretty spectacular ways in which God has provided my family and how peace has come when I’ve relinquished control of situations and recognized all provision comes from Him. We all agreed to pray for one another and they told me I had encouraged them and that they felt God had sent them to my house that day."
"On my son's baseball team we have been encouraging the kids and telling them that their faith in God is the most important thing about them. The kids have become emboldened to talk about church and are asking the coaches to pray for the team. For those that are followers of Jesus, it is becoming more normal to talk about their faith."
